Hey Buckman,

I was wonder if the PowerHouse Turbo has any effect on our hood clearance.
No clearance issues.

i have the ph turbo with the boost controller under the hood.
You can stay out of the boost all day if you want.
My boost is between 7 an 8 and I make around 330rhp with a
very conservative tune. You an get another 30 rhp with a different tune.
All install questions should be handled by FAZM he did my tubo and 2 others
this year. But I must say it looksvery complex to me.
ya its kind of got a lot of pipes lol.

ive done 3 now with no probs. i love the kit, and definately glad i waited (i waited a year, and was days away from buyin a procharger).

stayin out of boost is no problem, i probably only boost maybe 5-6 times a week, unless i hit the track.

I run the AEM tru boost controller/gauge now. for just over 200 bucks for a gauge, wiring, boost solenoid, and controller you really cant go wrong. i had the hallman one that buckman was running, but someone at the track messed with it creating issues for my car (just like he said in his post). Having the controller inside my car is much more tempting now, as ive already pushed over 16psi, but the convinience is nice as well

no, you can not. Basically, what a boost controller does is give the wastegate LESS pressure than is actually being made, so it doesn't open up and bleed exhaust until a higher boost level. You can't create false higher pressure levels with a boost controller. Keep in mind though that the wastegate regulates your PEAK boost pressure. I beleive powerhouse has a 6 psi wastegate spring available for the non-intercooled kits...im sure if you asked, they'd send you one of those instead of the 10psi one, and you could use boost control from there. Driving around town you would see very little boost or none if you wanted to.
