anyone know how to disable the seat belt chime on a 2007 V6

this was brought up in an old post. as far as i know, there is no option to turn it on or off. ford cares dude. BUT, if you like living on the edge OR just have some weight on the passenger seat that is setting it off, heavy box for example, then connect the belt first, then put the "box" on the seat. good luck and remember: YES, life is a risk, but you DO have a choice on how risky you want it to be.

I turned mine off about a month ago. Look in the owner's manual it gives you ste by step instructions how. You'll have to repeat the sequence on the driver and passenger side.

Yeah ... key on, off , count to 50, unlatch and latch seat belt 9 times, do the hokey pokey ... something like that. It sounds crazy but it works ... I have it turned off on the Driver Side.

+1 on the hokey pokey, that part iscritical or it wont work.... I have bothdriver and passenger off

as i was doing the hokey pokey my car honked and my brakes didnt work, but i gotta tell ya, it sure went faster!

lol i have mine disabled on both sides i am my own seatbelt warning person the one that sits and says Put on your seatbelt! so it gets annoying when am just driving a block or two.
