RE: Speedometer difference new tires
Do you have the wheels and tires yet? If so, go look at them and write down the size listed on the tires. Also write the size down of the tires on your car. Come back and list them.

RE: Speedometer difference new tires
Hey guys yesterday I bought brand new 2007 GT 18" bullit rims with tires. They have the pirelli nero tires with them, so how much of a difference would that make on my speedometer if my car was built with 17 inch v6 stock rims and Goodrich tires? ( The elanor looking ones )
The stock V6rims with the BFGs on themare 16" rims. [:@]
The stock GT Bullitts with the Pirellis on them are 17" rims. [:'(]
The stock 16s with OEM BFGs have the same Revs Per Mile as the 17"
OEM Bullits with OEM Pirellis as the 18" OEMs with ?other? OEM tires on them.
I think you have your sizes all mixed up.
I think you bought 17" GT take-offs with
OEM 235/55-17 Pirellis on them.
Double check then repost with your
findings.
All 16, 17, 18" Stang OEM tires/rims have the same
revs per mile somewhat. Not enough to upset your
speedo reading by anything perceivable.
There are online calculators to see what the outside
rolling distance is for any given tire size.
Here is a pic of a 17" GT Bullitt with OEM Pirellis on it.
