RE: why oh why
I was just telling my friend yesterday how irritated I get when folks ask, "Is it a GT?" Then I answer, "No, it's a Pony Package V6." They're like, "Oh." [:@]
I could have purchased a GT but I like the looks of the Pony Package as well as the mpg. I have three V8s at home and thought this would be something different to sport around town with. I have never been one to pull up at a stop light and want to race the guy next to me, so I thought by having a V6 the idiots out there looking for a race won't bother.
However I must say, unless you know your Mustangs, the idiots still think I drive a GT! [sm=ts.gif]

mugt500 is right...
This is one issue that will never desappear. The short d#ck syndrome that is.
The "There's no substitute for cubic inches" moto is still true but you don't need big cube to go fast anymore.
Besides, speed is not the most important thing to V6 owners, but if need to be, it will be fast. Internals on the 4.0 are stonger than the 4.6.

RE: why oh why
great posts guys
This is the link to another thread on a golf site after I posted pictures of my golf plates I put on the car, and most everyone got on me for it being a 6er. I personally think my last post is among my best work ever (when you get to it, keep in mind a Scotty Cameron is an expensive off the rack putter. Tour models cost thousands of dollars over off the rack putters
http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index....owtopic=131098).
Side note, what do u think of the plates? I still like them alot
