i was looking into the zex system for some time now but i am still not sure what other components i would need other then the system itself.

 

the kit itself will work just fine. however, you might want to get the window switch and racer kit just for safety purposes.

 

i thought the zex system worked only on open throttle? so you didnt need a window switch

 

there are two big problems with nitrous that make it dangerous to the engine, and both can be avoided pretty easily:

1) Spraying at partial throttle
The ZEX system already comes with the WOT switch. This is not something to worry about.

2) Spraying at low RPMs
The window switch will allow you to set the minimum RPM that you can spray at.

Iuse the zex window switch , purge, bottle warmer and gauge. Also got a set of NGK TR-6 spark plugs.FOr the 75 shot the stock tune will do ....for anything over that and you need a dedicated nitrous tune.

 

yeah i planned on getting a solid tune for the nitrous set up. i keep going back and forth between an xcharger or the zex system and cant seem to decide. pros and cons with both

 

well i just bought a whole zex set up and im going to run a 100hp shot, so heres what i got: the zex nitrous kit, racers kit, spark plugs, remote bottle opener, and im gonna get a nitrous pressure gauge and an A/F gauge after a little while and if you want to run the 75hp shot youre gonna need to buy the proper jet for a V6

 

oh and new tunes for any shot over the 75hp
