Default MGW Shifter

I've been looking to purchase a short throw shifter and was looking at the Hurst, but after reading all the rave reviews about the MGW shifter for the GTs I thought I would hold off any decisions untill the MGW was out for the sixxer. Well I've been checking MGW's site regularly and hadn't seen anything, but I decided to email them and find out if they were still working on it and when they might think they will have it for sale. Well this is the reply I got:

"we actually have them currently in stock and have been selling them for a few weeks. i have just not had a chance to add it to the site but you can call in an order. i really need to get it up there."

Soooo, now I would like to hear some reviews from people who have it. Does it have all the same adjustability as the GT version? How was the install? Pics would be nice also?

Thanks

I don't think anyone has one for the 6 yet. You could always get one and do a review for everyone. Then you could say that you're the first.

I have the MGW for the V6, and there are a few others here who have it as well. It will dramatically shorten and tighten your throw. You won't miss third gear on WOT anymore. It has all the adjustability of the GT version, and the install can be done yourself in about an 1.5 hours. I am happy with the shifter. It will not improve the "clunkiness" or "rockiness" of the 1-2 shift. The shift is much quicker and more positive but it is still clunky.

If you have any more questions let me know.
