Carroll Shelby said "Horsepower sells cars - Torque wins races".

And that's the quote I live by.

I want something signed by Shelby - a plaque some somekind - with that quote and his signature. I'd pay countless amounts.

Not quite the advice you are looking for, but if were only allowed to keep one of my mods, it would be my wheels. My Nitto NT455's gives me the traction and grip I cannot live without (literally... maybe). Hug the turns anddrive in the rain with confidence. :P

I'd like to note that the conditions for the blue (the higher run) are EXCEPTIONALLY better than the red run. I think they're findings may be a little exaggerated based on that...

Noob, those are before and after graphs and his test car, which i believe was his wife's car is a manny so in the 180s WHP stock is on target. I'm not sure all sixers will see 25WHP and that's probably a 93 tune. A 91 tune would probably get the mannys 20 + with the 3-pack he sells. That still puts the stick v6 at 200WHP or more which is more than the old 289 and 302 mustangs until you got to the boss. Remember, I'm talking wheel HP. Not the old HP ratings of the 60's

I have no dog in this fight, I'm just posting the numbers given to me from VMP. After reading their website though, I'm very partial to them. I like the look of the C&L vs. the VMP filter change, but he feels (shows) on dyno there is no difference, so I'm going with his suggestion.
Basically, I've been looking quite a bit for a CAI kit, but am new to cars and don't have any insight on tuners or tuner representation. I've read what I can and what I see is personal perference plays a huge roll in where people go. VMP sold me on their "added features" as represented on their website. I know Brenspeed has a dyno as well and many people like their set up. They (Bren) replied to my email as quickly as VMP and were just as courteous.
Thanks, PS

What's the name of the guy that says gitter done?

Wake up that stang and give it what it needs, a CAI, tune and axle back. You will not regret it
