Which is better for the DRAG STRIPE?

Race Tune or Torque Tune

I would assume the race tune.

 

i'm assuming the torq tune is great for acceleration and the race tune is great for WOT which is what you would be doing on the track.....hence the name "race tune"........you should really email doug and ask him the specific differences between his tunes. report back if he responds. i'm very curious also.

 

well the web site says the trq targets 2-4,000 rpms ,,, something like that.
That tells me its more of a low end tune.
I assume the race tune makes more HP on the top end of the power band.

Im runin the 91 torque right now , its pretty whizzy when you hit it rolling at about 10 mph

 

yup, i run 91 torq most the time myself. great for city driving or cruising. i'll save the race for showing off [8D]........uhh, in a safe way of course
