Visual differences aren't that much. It will cost you money and workto make the V6 look like a GT. The real difference is the V8 and 90 HP. The motor isn't that much bigger than the V6 though. If they had the 5.0 in the GT, I would have beena lot more encouraged to spring for the cost of a GT. I will get one in due time... V6 makes me happy enough for now

+1.
I say just buy the GT if you are going to go through all the effort to make it look like one. Then you will have the power to back it up as well.
All the effort? It cost me like $800 bucks and 3 hours to change my front bumper, rockers, and rear bumper. vs an extra $8000 bucks to go up to a GT?

buy a GT....Trust me on this one...
Trust you why? I love my V6, and it looks great, what does trust have to do with anything?

to the OP, go to fordvehicles.com and do a comparison to find out the differences. For the money it is well worth it buying a V6 to save on insurance and you can always mod your stang to make it look however you want. If you have your heart set on getting a V8 and you can't live without it, then get a base model V8 if you can't afford what you want.
