That was my first point about tossing money around.

My oldest brother used to lease cars for years until I got him to understand that he was just throwing $$ away.
He just bought a new Acura.
I don't consider ittossing money around -I consider itpaying for the privilege of always driving a new car.

That's been my point all along - as long as you know exactly what your doingthere is nothing wrong with leasing a car.Leasing is not for everyone but then again, neither is buying on credit or saving up and paying cash. Whatever floats your boat.

I bought my Mustang because I plan to keep it but leasing can make a lot of sense if you want a new car every 3 or 4 years. Especially on cars without great resale, just do the math. A $30,000 car without interest even if you kept it10 years is still $250 a month. Any new car is a losinginvestment financially.

You can lease plenty of $30,000 cars for $300 a month and not worry about depreciation and be covered under warranty. If you don't put on the miles and keep a car in good shape it's a good deal.

I done both and have switched back to leasing the family car's because I want the family in something new, the trade in after 3 or 4 years is throwing away a lot more than leasing!

I am afraid not...

If it did, instead of leasing my 2008 V6 Premium vert, I'dhave paid cash fora 2008 Mustang GT500 vert withall kinds ofFRPP goodies including the605 hp SC upgrade kit &FR3 handling kit.

Martin can always buy that car after or during the lease period. If he buys is after the lease period he will lose little to no money compared to if he bought it originally.

and not everyone likes to go in debt by buying and then putting $20,000 worth of mods in a v6 mustang...

Please put all this down, I would love to know how leasing a car would be cheaper than buying it flat out.
