if you're buying new, factory order is the waay to go. and yes, you can still negotiate (if you're good)

I have the tan interior with the silver dash and I love it. All of you saying the black looks better, remember that is personal preference, I happen to not like it.

The silver interior with tan looks very familiar to the old school dashboards and color. As a matter of fact I just saw a 68 GT500 at the auto show, red with white stripes and it had a tan and silver interior :P

I just got a 06 Mustang on Saturday, it had tan leather. I had always said that I would only get dark, and didn't even want to go look at this particular car because it had the tan interior. However, when I got to the dealer, I was surprised at how great the tan, black, and chrome go together. So definitely check them out before completely dismissing them.

In that case, I think you'll be surprised at how good the tan leather complements the red exterior. It doesn't sound that appealing, but it really does look nice.

I personally love my all black interior. I don't have to worry about stains from my feet or if someone spills something. I say, wait for what you want.

I particularly picked my car because I was looking for the parchment (tan) leather. I think it actually looks good with the plain black dash because of the contrast. Though, I would like to get the silver piece to replace in the future. But I think the tan looks better for my car color too. I think it's a great choice for a black car...with White, I'd prefer dark interior of course.
