Default Intro and Superchargers

I figured if I was going to ask a few questions I minds welll introduce myself while I'm at it. I've been a lurker on this forum since I found it this past October right after I bought a 2006 V6 Legend Lime Mustang with 15,000 miles on it. I've learned so much from reading the posts on this website and everyone seems to be pretty cool. Anyway, I was planning on modding my car and I was going to start with a cai and a tune. After that I was going to replace my front bumper cause it has a slight dent and some scraps on it, plus I hate the way the license plate indent looks. Other than that the car is in immaculate shape. I've been leaning toward replacing it with either a normal GT bumper and the GT foglights or maybe a Roush front bumper. I'm not trying to make mine look like a GT I just want a different bumper and I love the foglights.

My main question though is what does everyone think about modding a 6? After a while of thinking about what I wanted to do I started to like the idea of possibly adding a supercharger. It wouldn't be done right away maybe in 6 to 12 months I would have enough money for one. What do you guys think? A waste of money or what? I like the idea of being a sleeper in some form but I was looking for some input from everyone.

This thread has the potential to become a flamefest. Supercharge your six if you want to, don't ask for opinions because you'll just get biased responses. Good luck and welcome.

Do what you want to do with it, its your car, if you got the cash then go for it! There is nothing wrong with blowing a sixxer

+1. theres a ton of V8 (but not all- as you can see) and some V6 guys that will tell you that theres no way in hell that anyone should mod a six. theres nothing wrong with modding out our cars. theyre sturdy adn powerful 6's. capable of high power levels. and solid performers all around. i say go for it. but beaustang is right asking for opinions will start a flamewar, and sometimes even not asking will. but yeah. good luck with your future mods, i say shoot for the moon. its always cooler to see a modded 6 than a stock GT.
