Nice photos.....are you going to take off the side door molding or rental stripes? I can't help it.....when I see a Mustang with it, my eyes are drawn to it. [:'(]

on the door, there's a piece of plastic that protects the door from being hit, but it looks cheap.

If it keeps the door from being hit, won't that piece get hit? I don't see the entire logic :P But yeah I guess it could help keep the door from being dented, just that sometimes one has these things on their doors and someone with a shorter car such as a 1985 honda parks next to it and the door hits below the protective strip of plastic.
