got a real technical exhuast question????
ok i have a 2008 pony package. i have the c&L intake with the bama 91 tune. i got it likw three weeks ago and it was workin fine. but last week i got a flowmaster 40 put on it. so now when im driving i get sort of a lag or no response. before muffler i would hear the intake breathin whenever i would step on it. now ill be driving at a certain speed and i go to step on it more but i get no response and the intake kind of dies. in order to get i breathing again i let go of gas than step on again. or i just simply step on it more to gwt to the freakin thing to breathe and react. is this happening cause of the new muffler? im guessing that its letting more air out and the aair ratio in the tune needs to be re-programmed. what the hell is going on here??????????

Yup, def. reload the tune. Every time my car seems to act a little different, I load up my Bama 91 Torque tune, enrich the a/f ratio by 6%, and I'm a happy driver.

I haven't reflashed for a while. When U load your tune it asks if you want to change or modify the parameters. You can change many things. I have not changed air/fuel, butit's there for the changing. Here's my settings:
SCT XCAL 2 Settings
B*MA Chips
87 & 91 Performance / 91 Torque
Settings are 0 or Stock except as follows;
Speed Limit 115
Rev limit drive 6000 rpm
Rev limit neutral 5000 rpm
Idle rpm neutral 775
Idle rpm drive 725
Fan on low 198
Fan on high 206
Wot shift mph All = -3 mph (I did this for a 5800rpm wot shift)
Shift Pressure 1-2 & 2-3 = +10% (it will chirp 1-2 @+25%)
Shift Pressure 3-4 & 4-5 = +5%
Strategy: FMAF0AZ (0=zero)
BTW, I went from stock single to GT single, to GT duals with H pipe.
I didn't have the lag you mention. Hope this helps.

i have the exact same problem and have reloaded the tune.
i have a jlt cai, bama 93 race tune, and custom true-dual exhaust from lous custom exhaust.
it like locks up at certain rpm and speeds and unless i go wot or o/d it will keep locking up
