i used a really sharp box cutter tool. cut the bumper like cold butter. its one of the "husky" brand utility knifes. i'm sure a dremel tool may be better if you're not to handy with a knife.

i used a dremel - just start cutting in the center of the cut out and work your way slowy toward the outside - trim just alitte bit at a time. you can take away, but you can't put it back...

when using the dremel, slowly adjust the speed until the plastic starts to melt - then back the speed off alittle bit. thats the best speed to cut the bumper

I used a dremmel with the circular cutting bit, then used the round sanding bit to smooth it out.

I used a box cutter like Sancho805, then wrapped some sand paper around an empty wine bottle to smooth out the cut

The guys at the shop used a utility knife. They told me it cut the bumper like butter! Then they sanded it down and put some Motorcraft touch-up paint around the edge.

i have a small reciprocating cordless saw that i used for cutting mine with a fine tooth blade. worked great and only took seconds to cut the piece out.
