Would deff have to put a posi rear end in and work on the suspension
actually you dont want to get a positract or T-LOK, that will make you more stable and get better traction, good for racing/ bad for drifting

Why is it I get second guessed all the time on these forums... only for the rest of the crew to prove you wrong for saying that...

I have a question...After the first like 4 months I had my car, I could do doughnuts. Now everytime I try, I get into the doughnut but just for half of it then my car just goes straight...not turning anymore like it should. Whats going on here?

The previous doughnuts have taken a toll on your motor and tires.
Now the motor is not putting out the HP it was from rodding it and
the treadless tires are hooking up better like drag slicks.
Low power and sticky tires. Not good for doing doughnuts.

Sounds like you broke your Wankel bearing . In other words, quit trying to do doughnuts before you mess something up for real. Damn kids!

Peace!

not gunna lie...tried it once...and decided never to do it again.
i started off over correcting myself, which made me start trippin haha
then to end it off i hit the freaking crap out of a curb, hopped up on to it and then steered off of it. SCARIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE.
Luckily, and idk why, nothing happened to my car but a little ding on 2 of my rims. when i did it i honestly thought i just totaled my car
practice in a BIG parking lot first if you are going to do it

or... you can learn how to do it for real at a track and be a LOT safer... at least safer for the general public...

but I agree... if you're gonna do it... do it somewhere FAR FAR away.

You have an open diff no? Ofcourse you can't do donuts lol...

to the op, I would just go get some cones, small light nimble ones that wont destroy your car. And set up some different obstacles or turns and then practice there. Get your advice from someone who knows than go out and practice through a set of tires and go back. Keep progressing this way and i guarantee you will start to pick it up quickly. Keep it off the streets and you will have the respect of most talented drifters. It the a$$ clowns that mess it up for every scene. Can't drive a 240 on the street here in sacramento. You will get it jacked, broken into, or pulled over. Hondas are 10x worse too.
