would a single gt takeoff muffler add any noticable power?
Just a bit, at least I noticed some especially along with a CAI and 93 torque tune.

you'll notice as much you would a cai without a tune. the gains are there but when your dealing with 200+ hp at the crank, 8-10 hp won't feel like much. you gotta get into the 20+ gains to start having fun.

maybe think about painting them and getting chrome tips welded on before you install them. that should really make your stang look sharp and clean.
It sure does.

Is that a chrome tip added or is that stock?
That is the stock StainlessSteel tip polished to a mirror shine.
Try and see if you can tell the V6 M/T muff from the GT M/T muff
from the 2 pics below.

I thought the same thing. Well, I found one on ebay, pretty cheap for the muffler itself but the god damn shipping is so expensive. Oh well, seems worth it from the V6 Exhaust.

Too quiet... haha.

sorry for a double post, but got a quick question:

Can I installed the part myself (just the bolts and hangar) or is there welding involved?

as long as your original isnt welded on, you should be able to just unbolt the old and bolt on the new.

The stock 2007 shouldn't be welded I think, or hope. Should I get it professionally done or just do it myself, and will I need a lift?

So I'm guessing I don't need a lift and don't need a jack to lift it a little. Unless I wanted to die from the car falling on me, LOL.
