Default Tire issues, wtf?

I just got my FRPP springs and went to replace them tonight, spent all this time putting the car up on jackstands, jacking up the rear end, and finally went to go take the tire off and.....

Tire iron won't fit into the hole to reach the lugnuts. I just got some new AR Razors, and haven't needed to try and take the tire off, but how the heck am I suppose to change a flat if a standard tire iron won't remove my tire?

Is there some special type of tire iron to use on razors?

Sounds like you need to go to the parts store and buy one of those 4 headed style lug wrenches. They are longer to reach in there.

No, I have one. The problem is the lugnuts are narrow and any tire iron I use wont fit in the hole the lugnuts are in.

Deep socket and a breaker bar...

Maybe a piece of pipe for extra leverage (if they were put on with air rachets when you weren't looking)...

IMO you should use the money you save by installing the parts yourself to build up your tool collection. If you don't have a 1/2" drive breaker bar you need one, same for a set of deep 1/2" drive sockets. You can also consider renting, a lot of auto parts stores and rental centers rent all types of tools for working on your car, from jack stands to engine hoists. You may need a need a spring compressor for the fronts so keep that in mind too.

I planned on renting the spring compressor, and you are right about the tools. Good advice thanks.
