Are gauges neccessary?

RE: Are gauges neccessary?
Hmmm... lets see, your fuel filter is starting to get gunked up and dropping your fuel pressure ...that in turn leans you air/fuel ratio at WOT. I don't know about you, but I'd like to know that with a supercharger.
Best gauges for FI ... boost (of course) Fuel Pressure and Wideband Air/Fuel

What's the problem with using a narrow band A/F? I know it doesn't give you an number you can use to dial in your tune, but is it accurate enough to provide a good warning if your A/R starts to go lean?

While in theory, with a proper tune you don't "need" gauges, they are def. good to have as a warning of possible situations. I think of it as a small price to pay for a little piece of mind.
My opinion on two musts in order of priority:
Wideband (not narrowband) A/F
Boost

I have em. Just for safety. You don't need them unless you get a supercharger. Unless you want to pretend
