Heated seats question

RE: Heated seats question
Rather than go to the dealership there are several aftermarket kits available
http://www.pfyc.com/pc/GN2009/GNINT/...+Seat+Kit.html
http://www.heatedseatkits.com/heatedseatkits/index.html
http://www.seatheater-heatedseats.com/
There's probably more, but these I already have saved since I have been thinking about adding them as well. The dealership will be very expensive, they wanted to basically replace the seats when I asked.

RE: Heated seats question
Heated seats? Is it really that cold anywhere
in the US to need heated seats?
I would rather have heated side mirrors
instead of Fords Heated Seats Option.
"Sorry, I didnt see you because my rearview
mirrors were fogged up, but what the hey, at
least my butt is warm. Thanks, Ford."
They are available aftermarket for cheap.

RE: Heated seats question
My wife's Focus has heated seats and on the bitter cold winter mornings we've had here in Michigan, those heated seats are a lot more comfortable than the unheated leather in my Mustang. The only area where I might agree some that they aren't worth getting might be Florida, Texas, or SoCal - but even in those places there are some mornings where the heated seat option would be nice.
