Default fuel filter change

i'm doing it myself since the guys at the stealership want to charge me an arm and my left nut to do it. i already did my spark plugs and threw on some new wires too while i was at it.so question is how do u depressurize the fule system if at all to change the fuel filter? and messing around with mo-gas kinda makes me think. so if u can wlak me step by step about it would be really great.

The tool I bought was crud. I used a large flatblade screwdriver to press in the green tab. I was careful, and had no issues doing it that way.

Fuel filter should be changed every 30K I think. I did mine a little late at 40K. I noticed the car ran better...not too sure about a hp increase though.
