Default RE: fuel filter change

i know tht when i accelerate that it's much smoother and my idle is not all jumpy as it was b4. i used a fram filter. idk about there being more power, but the car does run better and i picked up about 3mpg on the highway and 2 on the streets. cuz b4 i was getting about 27mpg on the freeway and now i got 30. and my city is up to 19-20 mpg. i plan on keeping this car for a long time, it's paid for so no use in getting rid of something that's in good running order. but we are getting a nissan murano when i get back from iraq this time

I change every 40K miles and just went 60K this last time with local family garage at cost of $45.00+tax. I use Tier 1, Regular, gasoline too.
