Does ne one know how a v6 thats all stock would sound taking the resonators off. My friends did it to their cars and it made it louder and deeper im wondering how it would sound on a v6 mustang before i do it

There are no resonators.. just a single axleback muffler.

cuz taking those off will make it louder but will also make it illegal

The "black part" is just a hanger.


A resonator looks like a small muffler.

Don't add/remove anything. Just get an FRPP exhaust and be done with it

Our cars don't have resonators. I removed the muffler and went with a straight pipe. A resonator is a good thing to have to smooth out the sound. I'll get around to installing one eventually. I've been laggin because I want to convert to Pypes True Dual Exhaust with anX-Pipe.
