Bought mine new September 07 and I have 22k on it. I drive 190 miles round trip for work each weekday. I have been doing this trip for 6 years. Before purchasing the 4.0, I had a Honda Accord and then a Toyota Camry. The Honda was OK and I get about the same mpg with the Stang. The Totota was a POS that I had a lot of problems with, though it got about 2mpg better than the Stang (it was a 4 banger). All in all, I was pleasantly surprised that my Mustang is much, muchmore comfortable than either of those 2 cars (and I am 6'3" tall). I have had many vehicles in my life and I can honestly say this is by far my favorite car to date. This has been an above average year for snowfall in WI and I have to say that the Stang (has ABS and TCS) feels almost as good as the Accord in the snow and better than the Camry. I do not have snow tires or weight in the trunk and have made the trek to and from work many times in bad weather. I also own a 2004 F150 FX4, and I have only driven that to work several times when the snow was pretty deep. Call me crazy, but I feel more in control with the Mustang on icy roads as compared to my truck. Man, I love this car.

Mileage: 63,000

Model: 2005 4.0 Coupe Manual

Average MPG (City+Hwy): 25

Driving: 50+ miles/day (Mostly commuter traffic)

Performance Mods: C&L CAI - Sniper Tune- Straight Pipe Exhaust - 18" Wheels and 245/45-18 Tires

Problems: Only problems I've ever had are TSBs including gas tank fueling issue (FIXED), Shaker 500 issue (FIXED then replaced) and driver door handle loose issue (Soon to be fixed).

Maintenance: Oil change every 7500 miles (I use Mobil special 7500 synthetic), check brakes every oil change, fuel filter change every 30,000 miles, wash her at least twice a month

That's why it's not fixed yet. Dealer wouldn't do it under warranty. Wanted to charge me and I don't think it's a big enough problem that would be worth the outrageous time and cost lol. I'm waiting for a free day to disassemble the door and try it.
