What year model? 08 is the only model with BlueTooth?
Some have the actual button but NO BLUETOOTH.
If in doubt, call the stealership and ask them WTF the
phone button is for.
Mine has a pic of a phone and "mute" on it.
It manually mutes the audio during a manual cell phone call.

It is only a mute button. No bluetooth.

I have a 08 with Safety, PP, and Comfort Group. I'm guessing your talking about the Shaker 500.

I've never understood the wasted space ofa mute button. It's just as close and just as easy to pop the on/off button if you're answering a call. Plus if you're listening to a CD then you miss whatever part plays while you're on the phone. Now if it actually paused the CD without killing the power so the 'return to music' was faster than waiting for the head unit to power up that would be a useful button!

Turn off your fricken phone before driving if its that complicated for you.
Try searching the road for obsticals and other unsuspecting drivers like ME.

+100 to that. I see so many people talking on their cell phones (w/o using bluetooth) when I'm driving, it never fails. Here in NY that's illegal for obvious reasons, but people do it anyway. In my opinion, it's a blatant disregard for your safety and that of others. I wish I could make a citizen's arrest on the people that I continually see violate this law every day, but it's my word against theirs...plus I have better things to do, like rant on internet forums about it.
