im about to give up on driving a nice car. this is the 4th time ive been hit while parked or sitting at a stop sign. FTW. stupid *** drivers who back across an entire two lane street from a parking lot (really a 3 lane if you include the parking spots on the roadi was inon the side of the road) and "dont see my car" thats been parked there for 2 hoursshould not be given a license. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

and those who drive down an entire 400 yard street while i sit at a stopsign at the end of the road and proceed to rear end me....

and those who sideswipe me while my car is parked....

and those who back out of parking spaces in gas stations while im right behind them and ruin my front 1/4 panel....




**** all those stupid drivers who cant operate their own brains much less a car.... goddammit...

How bads the damage?

 

its not bad. it just happens all the time. itll probably be about 600-800 dollars to repair (havent got the estimate yet).. but its paint damage about the size of 2 softballsand she put a decent crease in the fender flare.... ahh... the car is by no means ruined, but its annoying the **** outta me. ive had the car for only a little over a year and this is the 4th time someones hit me... its getting kinda rediculous... ya know? my mom has had cars for YEARS like 6-7 years and never had anything happen... my car is a freaking magnet for bad drivers...

 

man i feel for you... i live in l.a. so lets just say im a little b**** about my car... i park it far from others...dont wander far from here when in close parking quarters....watch valets if they park it (like a hawk i might add, plus i will go check on her to make sure nothing is fishy...nice thing is that she will usually get an up front spot if you will...after all this is l.a....lol) and if i park her on the street...which is almost never...im sure to get a spot where no one parks in front or behind me(read fire hydrant zones at the front bumper or rear bumper so no one can park there thus reducing some of the risk of getting my bumper banged) and if she is on the street its usually not for very long......

sorry to hear that....but at least no one was hurt...and she will be fixed.....if keeping her nice means i gotta walk a little bit to get where i was going....so it is...but it keeps her nice....

 

im usually the exact same way, but i was parking out on the street while at my Girlfriends hose, so her parents could come and go and i wouldnt be blocking their way out. but now were gonna have to figure out some other way cause i cant keep parking on the street.

i just dont understand how people "dont see a parked car" and cant avoid hitting it. it depresses me that the average IQ level of people driving deosnt allow them to have the ability to realise that inorder to avoid an object you have to turn the steering wheel.

idk... maybe ill just start leaving my car in the garage and walking the 17 miles to her house... lol... atleast the car will stay in better condition.

 

lol....thats a long walk.... i really feel for ya tho man...i have a black car too...its hard to keep nice...if its any consolation...there is apparently a cat in my parking that finds my car comfortable.....nothing bad yet...but im waiting....cant get mad either cause i have a cat and love cats....just wish they could understand english......

 

word...i always park way away from everyone...and so i'm coming out of the store...still nobody even close to my car and BAM a big ol' crease in my rear fender flare...doucebags with there tall *** pickups/stupid useless vehicles....

I know why they keep hitting you bc they keep staring at that nice *** mustang and then before they know it they hit you. Its like the drunk people that run in to cop cars bc of their flashy blue lights.

I live in an area infested with drivers from Mexico. If you've ever driven in Mexico and survived the first time, you know that there is no such thing as "right of way" or "yield" much less "courtesy". I'm not bashing Mexicans (since I am Mexican myself) just the driving habits of 99% of those that live across the border and frequent our nearby malls and families. They have no sense of speed, signs or sense sometimes. I've been at 4-way stops and nearly hit from both sides because they for some reason think it's just a slow down sign and proceed to run it at 15 mph...

OH OH, my favorite today was almost hitting one of them in the countryside from cutting out in front of me.A semi was behind me and the person lacking depth perception was about 100 yards out or so and did not speed up at all. Kept a steady pace of 25 mph in a 55mph zone. LMAO it was great times with the beams of a semi starring me down from behind. Almost was feeling like a human sandwich at one point. Glad my car has some ***** when I need to get around drivers in the countryside in a hurry.
