Default THROTTLE LAGG!!!!

I was on my way home from school today and decided to gun it on a street(seeing I was alone on it). I slightly accelerated, but as soon as I put the pedal to the floor I felt 2 big jerks like it was hesitating. I have a CAI and computer tune and thought this should've cleared this up. Anyone have any ideas why this happened?

I'm assuming you have an automatic? And I'm also assuming you had O/D ON meaning the O/D OFF light was not lit on the dash?

Depending on the tune you have it may or may not have included adjustments for the tranny. Bama Tunes include programs to change the shift point and pressure of the tranny so you get firmer shifts and less 'hunting'.

If you left the O/D ON your tranny will go to the highest gear possible to maintain 1200-1500 RPM while just cruising or under light acceleration. When you stepped on it had to drop two gears to get into the power band of 3000+ RPM. Turn off O/D while in the city or in traffic to keep the power closer at hand.

It's an auto with less than 5k miles and brand new. Derf00, yes OD was on and i have a diablosport tuner which I dont believe can change the shift points or firmness. Can bama tunes make a tune for my car that is usable with my tuner? or do I need their tuner?

Check with Diablo first. I don't know. If they say you can make changes in some way, contact the company you bought the setup from to see if they have any tunes with Auto's in mind. If Diablo doesn't support auto modding, the Xcalibrator3 does.

Bama doesn't sell their own brand of tuner they just sell tuners with their custom made tunes.

My tuner does have self-adjustable modding but I have no clue what I should do or how much I should add to the tranny.

You can't get rid of the throttle lag yourself.. even with a good tune.. it is a characteristic of the "drive by wire" system and will always be there to some degree.
I get some throttle lag with bama and brenspeed tunes.
