Suggestions for my mustang?
I have an 05 V6 stang, silver. You can see a picture in my sig.
I am planning on getting a cold air intake, a duel exhaust, and some other engine mods. I don't have the money for a turbo so thats out of the question.
Can you guys give me some suggestions on which CAI to get and which exhaust to get? And also, any other parts i should be getting, such as a tuner?
Oh, and I'm going for the best performance on all the parts I want.
And I should have my new wheels and tint on it soon. Thanks all!

RE: Suggestions for my mustang?
well, not that it makes that huge of a difference, but is it auto or stick?
i have a jlt cai and xcal III combo from b a m a chips.com. The tuners seem to make a bigger difference with autos more-so than manuals... but i still like my tune and cai (i'm a manual)
i have 87 performance, 91 torque, and 91 race tunes.
also, some exhaust setups to consider are:
pypes (x-pipe system, been around for a while, decently priced)
JBA H-pipe system (it's what I run, apparently they sound deeper with h-pipes than x-pipes, fairly priced)
ford FRPP (x-pipe system built by ford, seems to be the choice of most within the last few months they have been available)
all the setups are going to be very similar in any gains I believe, as well as the CAI's and tuner packages. don't think you'll notice any real differences unless you go f/i, which is out of the question (for now )

What else could I do that would help me out, again staying away from the turbos. I just want a total of eh about 40 to 50 more WHP if thats possible.

RE: Suggestions for my mustang?
yeah i meant that it probably wouldn't make a difference in auto vs. manual with which tune company you go with, as they are all reputable companies...
you will definitley notice something haha

RE: Suggestions for my mustang?
Oh....and 40 to 50 RWHP might be a bit much.
Other HP mods would include pulleys (4-5 hp), and possibly a throttle body (Zabteck).
Another great mod for our cars is a driveshaft (our stockers are heavy and 2 pieces).
You might also want to consider suspension mods (LCA's).

RE: Suggestions for my mustang?
Thanks guys.
At danbevsv6rumbler, do you like that exhaust and would you recommend it?
Say I were to get that JBA H-pipe system, the C&L intake and predator combo, and pypes headers, and possibly pulleys; what kind of performance gains would I be looking at?

RE: Suggestions for my mustang?
I have NO idea on gains from dual exhaust. (Hopefully he can help)
You might want to consider an SCT tuner with the C&L.
Most bolt on (NA) V6's with those mods have around 200HP and 230 TQ.
For instance...one example...
2005 manual with true duals (h-pipe) and gt take-off mufflers, a 91 octane tune, and C&L was...
202.3 RWHP and 229.2 RWTQ.
