I have a single flow 44.I don't think it sounds ricey at all,and it drones very very little. The frrp sound great too,IMO-

p.s-from those who don't know a single exhaust is supposed to mean you are a sixer,i have been confused for a GT somewhat often,lol-

i agree with flowmasters. evryone always talks about other mufflers but the flowmasters i think r the best sounding i have a single flowmaster 40 series and it sounds bitchn. evryone always gives me great comments and i believe it does sound as good or even better than duals on ur V6s. u can hear my car coming a block away.

I ran a single Magnaflow for over 2 years and loved the sound. But the FRPPdual kit I know have is just great. Way to many choices with mufflers!

I went with the "single" Pypes 409 Stainless Steel Street-Pro Axle-Back. They sound decent once they are broken in (2+ months). Also at higher RPMs it does sound a bit high (ricey). I am Ok w/ it for now; howverI am planning on gettingdual FRPP exhaustin the near future. :-)

Check out the youtube link below to listen to my single Pypes exhaust.

Also, you can check out the direct link to the website I purchased from.

Hope this helps....

Good luck!!

I can assure you that the MRT aero is not what you are looking for. I have had mine for almost a year, and every time I drive, I get a little more annoyed by it. It does not sound like muscle, it does ok at idle, and not too bad at WOT. As for everyday driving, it sounds like a loud hum. It hums real bad on the inside, but it sounds even worse on the outside. And thats what people will hear when you drive by, a loud droney hum.

i have the american thunder flowmaster single exhaust. had it for over a year. I really dont care for it much, maybe because i have a convertible. Yeah its loud, but really not a awesome sounding loud, more like a poorly running car kinda loud. JMO... and as others have said..you might as well skip the single muffler and go right to duals, thats one of my next moves.
