I went ahead and ripped the other 5inch piece off. so it looks like it is supposed to be like that. but yea I am getting it fixed asap.

I can't use that either because it uses the stock lower gril.l. And if you look you can see the black outline. Mine would have a gap. I am going to replace it soo. but it doesnt look bad at all after I ripped the other piece off. It looks like it is normal.
