RE: No Burnout? WTF?
That sixxer with an "X" is a beast. I seen one on Gratiot (our local crusin street in Detroit). He was smokin every thing. INCLUDING a few stock GT's(and one that was not so stock, but surprisingly enough, he did not want to talk about his mods after getting CHRUSHED by an "exer",that'll **** em off, He he he he). just practice up dude, you'll get it. and when you do, us stock sixxers wanna hear all the nasty details.

put your left foot on the brake...it doesn't matter how hard. gas it till the tach shows it ain't gettin any higher, lift the brake and slam the gas as fast as you can and don't lift till you gotta or you blow a tire.

I dont know why you would be having a problem doing a burnout. My car will spin the tires without even touching the brake by just flooring it off the line. With holding the brake and giving it gas you should be able to do a huge burnout.

RE: No Burnout? WTF?
You shouldn't even have to do a brake stand then.. just flooring it off the line should get you there.
Before my t-loc.. I could smoke the living crap out of my "tire" without trying.
Definitely something going on if you can't even smoke one tire.

I tried that but my car still rolls. My brakes need to be replaced im pretty sure. Once i get up to about 90 then try to slow down I can feel the brakes kind of grinding i guess? I dont really know how to describe it. I think I'm gonna look into a set of gt takeoff brakes. And I don't have t-lok but i'm planning on getting it soon. Then I'll be able to roast some rubber!

I don't know why you are having problems. I have no problems with my non-supercharged 6 and I have a t-loc.
Just hold down the brake and rev to about 1800 rpm... the floor it and release the brake.. When I do that my tires spin enough to make the rear swing sideways.
If you increase your rpms a little.. you should get more of a burnout.

RE: No Burnout? WTF?
Didnt you just get NEW tires?
I know there is a difference in smoking the tires (at least for me) between my last set and my new set.. Before I could get some spin out of them, but with the new ones I just get really good traction.
I am not X charged tho, so idk what your problem is..
talk to your dyno shop that custom tuned you.

I've re-read your original post, and it sounds like you're not releasing the brakes. Hold the brake pedal down, tach it up to 1800-2000 rpm, release the brakes, and floor it... should be smoke city!
I have 295 width 18"Nittos and t-lock, and I can screech them pretty good, and I am not blessed with X power.
