which do u prefer and why?

i am thinking about getting one but would like to hear what you guys like better

 

I would like to see additional info on this too. I have read in multiple stickies that the CAI and a tune is "definitely worth the money" but have seen no recommendations on what CAIs are good/bad (usually a pipe is a pipe) or more importantly who gives the best tunes. I was looking at VMP since I have seen it in the most sigs and they seem to offer the best flexibility on tunes compared to the other guys but it would be great to hear from people who have actually compared these different options.

 

You should consider VMPtuning also. You already have a CAI and performance muffler so you just need the tuner. Believe me its also a good idea to have a mileage tune nowadays and I swear by VMPs. Last year with just the VMP 87 mileage tune, VMPs CAI and a MagnaflowI got 29.1 mpg highway on my bone stock automatic V6. With my car set up like in my signature below I got 27.6 mpg highway with the 87 mileage tune. With the 93 mileage tune the car ran 14.65@ 93.58with the highway mileage a little over 26 mpg. I don't think you can go wrong with VMP.

 

I have ran both BrenSpeed and BamaChips.

I liked them both, but I prefer the BamaChips.

I can't say anything about the tunes at VMPtuning, but I can say it is a GREAT company.
