i thought the "screaming" was a characteristic of a supercharger?

well mine is sitting in the boxes under my desk as I type this but if the scream is real loud id say its an vac leak.

as for sounding like its cam'd up ,, it does switch the plugs around so id say that has something to do with it and would not worry

Yeah I had a vacuum leak on mine. I had a high pitched squeal that disappeared when I would rev the engine but return once I let off the throttle and the revs lowered to idle. the noise also persisted at idle. I also was throwing lean codes on my 02 sensors, which makes sense. I did the little pvc pipe trick (3-4 ft long tube used as a stethescope to hear where the leak was coming from the loudest). There was that one screw on the back of the blower that I had forgotten to tighten during the install. I sprayed some carb cleaner at it and the engine rpms shuddered and the squeal went away. When I turned it back on it came back and I sprayed the carb cleaner again and got the same result. I then tightened the bolt and everything has been running great ever since.

good luck, hope this helped.

what pulley do you have..... how did you fix the leak? I had one, and was able to fix it by spraying a bunch of carb cleaner in where the leak was, and it silenced it and it never came back. I think the gasket soaked some up and when it dryed, it dryed a little thicker, or stuck to the metal... anyway the vac leak was gone.

So... you like that torque, or what???
