With dual Street Pros, turning up the radio isn't an option...

I've noticed they have gotten louder than when those vids were taken.

I passed someone yesterday (his windows were UP) and when it downshifted, he got all scared and slammed on the brakes (which was a pretty stupid thing to do).

Must have been dozing at the wheel (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt he wasn't trying to cause an accident).

At low RPM the resonance is awesome (most people refer to this as drone), but if you don't have drone, it isn't loud enough.

LOL
I've had street pro's, they droned like ****. If I can rate the drone on the street pro's to be 10, my SLP's are 1.. and trust me, the SLP's are louder than the street pro's.. a lot louder. Other than the drone, they do sound pretty good though, but I prefer the SLP's.

+1 on the GT Takeoffs, best bang for the buck IMO cheapest all around set-up no matter what set of pipes you go with (H or X)

If money isn't an issue then the FRPP dual x setup shouldis the best way to go.....

This is what I am getting and I have heard nothing but good things. I have always liked the look of a dual exhaust. The search for mods is one of the fun things with a stang.

Love my pypes set up! The Street Pros are PLENTY loud. Youtube made all my decisions for me! Just search under "08" or "07 mustang v-6 exhaust" or the specific brand you are thinking about. If you are planning on a GT takeoff bumper or just cutting your existing one, I would get the polished mufflers, because they can be seen under the car, and the non-polished ones look like **** after only a month of normal driving. I loved the sound of mine (non-polished) so I bought some spray-on undercarriage stuff ( that thick black rust inhibitor) and sprayed the body of my mufflers, just masked off the 4" polished tips. OMG, it looks incredible AND rust-proofed my mufflers! Bottom line is, listen to the different sounds, decide how much you want to spend, and go with what nmakes you happy.

If you go the GT take-off route
make sure its a M/T GT take-off muff.
auto is F1-7991, manual is F1-7849
