Default For those who have Rally Stripes

I have a question about your Rally stripes, I just bought a 2005 V6 Mustang, about a month ago and I never see anyone else with my kind of Rally stripes, I thought they were factory, but now I'm beginning to wonder. I have two black stripes (maybe 12 in each in width) that have a smaller stripe that seems to go around them (about half an inch in width), the stripes go over the hood, roof, and rear of car only (not over the spoiler). I only see pictures of two solid stripes that go over the whole car (i.e. the Shelby's).

Is there anyone else out there that has these stripes or have I been duped?

I have seen a couple of cars with those stripes. They are Ford stripes.

==I thought they were factory, but now I'm beginning to wonder==

They're definitely not factory-installed, there aren't any factory installed hood/deck stripes on the '05's. It is a dealer-installed option, but like you mentioned the only ones I've seen did not have the 1/2" perimeter stripe.

==have I been duped? ==

All that matters is whether you like them and if you liked the price. If you're OK with those two questions, then it's all good

Yes, I do like them, one of the many reasons I fellin love with her, and after seeing how much some other people have paid for things around here, I'd say the price was alright.

Graphic Express sells a very similar set of hood stripes, but it does not go all the way up the rood and down the rear deck.

Your stripes were probably installed by the dealer. Some dealers will install some basic mods to justify charging way over MSRP.

One of the dealers I visited installed a $130 stripe kit and was asking 2k for the "stripe package"
