Default AFE Stage 2 Intake Installation Instructions

these instructions seem incomplete.
Step 8 calls for the removal of factory crank case line from engine

#1 what is that

#2 it doesn't say to reconnect it later on, will i need to?

Step 12 calls for the installation of the hose provided onto a valve that sticks out of the side of the intake tube.

#1 where do i connect the other end of it.

#2 what do i do with the vacuum line (i think that's what it is) already connected to the stock intake tube? (it's closer to the throttle body and has a little green part at the end of it)

please help me!!!

Just another question
the instruction paper says "05-07", mine is an 08, will that matter?
stangmods.com posted it as 05+, hopefully it doesn't matter

Sounds like you're talking about the breather hose which is attached to the factory intake hose. I believe you reuse the factory hose on the AFE, therefore you would only need to unhook the breather hose while in stalling the new box then re-attach the breather hose once you are done.

nope. what i did was take the end of the breather hose that goes into the valve cover and cut it off, and attached the hose supplied to THAT. the other end of the hose fit properly onto the intake and didn't cause me any problems.

why is all that necessary if the aFe only replaces the airbox and MAF housing?

The Factory Crank Case Line IS the Line that connects to the Stock Tube closer to the throttle body.
You may have to Cut the Factory quick conect end (Factory Crank Case Line)off then Install the hose provided onto the new intake tube close to the throttle body and then slide other end over the Factory Crank Case line.
