Exaust dumps?
I'm not all that familiar with the H-pipe, but on my x-pipe it looks like an exhaust cut-out could be placed behind each cat as it bends towards the center of the car ahead of the x-pipe. The h-pipe may be the same way.
There are some cool electric cut-out gates that allow you to change the flow with a flip of a switch. They are pricey though, but it beats crawling under your car to remove the blocking plates.
If you are looking for improved sound, then I'm not sure cut-outs are the best choice. Of course sound is a matter of personal taste, but I don't like the sound of our 4.0L's with cut-outs or fully open exhausts. However, it may be something that you like.
