Got tools? It can be done in 20 minutes.
Be sure and get a M/T GT take-off and
not an Auto GT take-off.
GT M/T Muff FI-7849-R
auto is F1-7991-l
Paint it flatblack before install.

I think this is the best cheap mod you can do, going duals isn't neccessary but it sounds great. Go for it!

Manual vs auto take offs is that there is a slight difference in tone between the two - the manual one is supposed to have a deeper tone and be a little louder - my old ears could never tell much of a difference. I have a pair sitting in my garage - PM me if you are interested

The Auto GTs have a quieter muff than the Manual GTs.
If you want a deeper tone muff but the same loudness
you have now, get an Auto GT take-off.

The link in your post is actually a clip of a different exhaust... Ford Racing M-5230-GTA

cost more $$$ than GT take offs
That's my clip, and I put a note below it:

"Turns out I was hoodwinked and the exhaust you heard was a simple GT takeoff muffler."

Sorry for any inconvenience a lying - er, mis-speaking - eBaY seller might have caused.

It took me 20 mins to install my GT muffler. it has one less bracket than the V6 one so dont be alarmed if you have things left over. i have an Auto and i got the Manual takeoff muffler. i didnt know there was a difference until now, but i love the sound. i got it off craigslist for $50 but he would only sell me the pair so i have the other one if i decide to go dual.

As for MPG gain...i couldnt keep my foot off the damn thing, it sounded great pulling away from stop signs. i even had another sixxer ask me what muffler i had at a stop light.

Yea they do sound very nice plus you cant beat them for the price although the HP and fuel econ. gains are minimal, that shouldnt stop you from picking these up ! I'm very happy with my single and very soon I'll be goin dual with them. With this you just swap out your old exhaust and throw this one on and you're done... Go for it, you wont be disappointed....

3 bolts to take off old muffler, 2 bolts to put on new muffler. Really easy to do - like people have said, maybe take you 20 minutes in your driveway. I like the sound - have had people ask me if I have a V-8, and that's with only a signle exhaust.
