If you could design the 2010 V6 Mustang, what would you do?
I would make raised white letter tires and aluminum slotted mag wheels an option.
Let hear your ideas.

lets see, first i would use the same grills as the giugiaro mustang concept. then i would ad some hips to the car (subtle not too out there). i would change out the outdated 4.0 and use a 3.7 that makes about 275hp as well as a 6 speed auto/manual. I think that a good competitor for now (until the 2014 mustang is here).

and also I would give it dual exhaust and make all parts of the bumpers and side skirts line up at the same height...no more side skirts being way lower than bumpers.... and rear bumper must cover the mufflers and only let the tips be seen

Definitely the grill from the Giugiaro Mustang concept. Some hips, dual exhaust, better front and back sway bars, aluminum drive shaft, better leather seats, 6 speed tranny, GT500 spoiler, embroidered Tri-bar Pony on the seatsand last but not least more horsepower!

With all these mods, it'll also come with a non-V6 price.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love the dual exhaust and sway bars, not to mention better high end speed.

What would I like to see on the 2010? A lot of the above,
what do I plan on seeing? Minimal, pointless interior changes and a few petty options that make no real difference.

I feel if Ford can put duals on Fusions and the Edge, why can't they put duals on aMustang V6?
I know they do offer a High Performance package that comes with dualsnow for the 2008 V6 Mustangs and you can purchase that kit. Perhaps Ford has been listening.

I think the first thing I would do is make the current GT style spoiler a standard feature. My '08 convertible came without a spoiler, and it was one of the first things I put on the car. It's actually not just for show, it's functional when it comes to backing. The spoiler marks where the back of the trunk is, so when I am backing, I know where the back of the car is.
In my '97 it was only true when the roof was up. In my '08, the roof doesn't seem to go down as far as the '97 roof did, so the spoiler is functional both when the roof is up and when the roof is down.
Second, the pony package grille would be standard. It is, IMHO, much nicer looking than the stock grille. My '08 didn't come with it, and I'm not about to spend $800 at the dealership to have it installed.
I've been told that the Sync audio system will be available in the 2009 Mustang (I am not sure). If so, I would make it available.
In my 1997, the convertible cover (ie, boot) was standard. I would make it standard again.
Better fuel economy. Maybe turn off four of the cylinders in V-8 models while cruising on the highway, and perhaps a switch on the dashboard if the driver doesn't want to use that feature? That way if you want the performance, you could have it, but you could also save fuel when you wanted to.
As a dream, how about a hard top convertible?
Just a few thoughts.
