The fusion is around 7.5 to 60 mph so the mustang should take it

a v6 fusion will actually run low 15s along with the 4.0s

and they would need to change the bellhousing for the tranny for FWD vs RWD so it was easier to market the 4.0 (the ranger/exploder 3.0 was OHV)

Is the new V6 supposed to be aluminum block? Displacement? Anybody have any details?

Hmmm.... I may be wrong but from different test I've seen they run mid to high 15s
