stock bfg radials 16'

maybe im low on air?
can somehow give me a link?
is eibach any good?
I would take it to the dealer and have them look at it. Also with the stock 16s I'm guessing it'd be a bit rougher ride do to less tire mass on the road to absorb the ground. Also if your tires are low on air it'll actually make the ride better b/c it acts almost like air shocks. That's why if you air up the tires to the max you can feel a lot more bumps in the road.

The power seat has a "lumbar" adjustment that might help.

Unless there has been a coincidental failure of all four shocks, I'd guess the "ride" problem is a matter of what you're used to. If the car is stock, the 16-inch setup has more sidewall to flex and absorb shocks, but requires higher pressure according to the doorjamb sticker, 36 psi vs 32 for GT 17s. Also, if you have lighter tire/wheel combos, they have less inertia, and will respond to bumps with larger moments for the dampers to dissipate.

If you got your car from another user, it might have stiffer springs.

If the tires are originals, look into getting some more expensive ones. Strangely, lower-profile, heavier, larger diameter, $370-each Michelins also had a ride-improving effect.

My former Budget Rent-A-Car had only 13K miles on it when I put on the Tokico D-specs and the originals were doing their job just fine; however, the new shocks moved the ride into another dimension of comfort. Just miles better.

i think we all have to deal with a rough ride in our cars, but its a muscle car not a luxury car.

Its not the DS thats a POS.
Its the inferior C Clip design holding it on.
Just to get the record straight.
The driveshaft wont cause any vibrations
unlees your pinion angle is wrong.
When the C Clips give way and all h#ll breaks
loose,THATis when the DS BECOMES a POS.
Actually, there's nothing wrong with the C-clips, IF your car has them...

05's and early '06s came WITHOUT c-clips. the bearing caps for the universal are just staked in with a bit of roughed up metal from the hole they rest in.

The caps walk out at speed due to the lack of clips, and the rest ain't pretty.
