Default Performance mods

so after much thought and deliberation i decided to go with performance than with show on my car. heres what ive decided on so far:

-steeda cai + tune 93 octane
-detroit t-lok with 3.73 gears
-8mm spark wires
-jba shorty headers

thats all i can think of so far. anything i need to add/remove? steeda cai + tune good or are there better ones? now i know what everyone is thinking, no dual mufflers? the reason i didnt add it up there is because im torn on what to get. i want to purchase the cervinis body kit and powerhouse turbo (thanks to buckman, fazm, and rygenstormlocke) down the line, and i see that their V6 kit comes with an H-pipe. how do the mufflers/exhausts run underneath? would i be able to run an X-pipe with the kit? i know that the X is for performace and the H just for sound. will the turbo charger interfere with the kit, seeing that they run in the back? and what is the deal with throttle bodies/spacers? some say theyre useless, others say theyre good only if your car is FIed.

You could save some money and get a JLT or VMP intake and tune.

They are just as good, if not better than the Steeda.

The rear-end upgrade is a good idea.

I was very happy with my JBA shorty headers.

For the time being you may want to look into just a single muffler until you go to duals, the stock one is restrictive.

@ Mr. Bape - Yes, I was very happy with my JBA shorties. I knew going into the install not to expect a huge performance increase, but I was happy with the results. I do think it had a performance increase, and I also think it increased my exhaust tone. I am now selling my JBA shorties because I use my car mostly for racing now and I am installing off-road long tube headers. The same thing goes with the Zabteck TB, on a naturally aspirated car you won't see any significant gains...but for me ANY gain is worth it since I am looking for 13's in the quarter mile. The product is nice though. You have no problems throwing codes or anything because it is just a machined OEM throttle body.

@ Capital G - I upgraded to my stangwires at the same time I did my coil pack and plugs, so I can't really say. I did feel a performance increase with all 3 of the mods though. Again, to me any performance increase is worth it.

Hope I helped guys.

I've done a lot of digging on the throttle body spacers and here is what I've come up with. If the fuel is introduced into the airstream before the TBS (like an old carburator) it works. If the fuel is introduced after the TBS (like our Mustangs where the fuel is injected directly into the cylinders)it doesn't work. So the TBS is a no go on our newer mustangs.

The Zabteck TB is not a spacer - it is a stock throttle body that has been machined to flow more air.
