wait, how do you launch with an auto? you hold the brake down and give it some gas then let go of the brake and pin the gas? when i do that i end up doing a burnout and my launch is a smoke screen. im lost, help explaine this to me

Drop it intoD and hold it on the brake as you bring the revs up to around 2000. Then just release the brake and mash the throttle. You won't have any issues with wheelspin so no worries there.
Revving the crap out of it and dropping it into D only works for Rednecks.........

I really like the interior on your car - is it an aftermarket kit you picked up or did an interior shop do it for you? It is something I've wanted to do with my car as well. I also noticed you have a white top, so that must have been aftermarket from somewhere because I've never seen it on the Ford option list. Looks great.

interior shop. i love the white top, it stays nice and cool in the summer, but it is hard to keep clean. i have a convertible top cleaner but its at my Delaware house. i've noticed Mr Clean Magic Eraser and a hose works better for small spots, but it may not be great for the material...

thanks! a lot of my friends said they hated the white top when i first got it, they said it looked like an old man car. i don't think they realized its supposed to have that classic look. they must be confusing "old man car" with "classic car" haha. plus they're probably just jealous they don't have a mustang 
have u seen red mustangs with white stripes and a BLACK convertible top? looks awful!
it is a b**** to keep clean though.
