get a new gauge cluster to start

weather stripping is an easy and not a major repair.

why are you shifting your automatic manually? just put it in D and go.

Check for that passengers side water leak around the SJB area.
That could be the demise of your guages.
Are you throwing any DTCs?
Buy a manual if you want to drive like it is a manual.

i only shift it everyonce in awhile. lol im not shifting like a manual...+ i dont shift down EVER i just shift from 1 2 3 then drive...and i always do it from a stop. But a manual is on my wish list! as for the clusters...i have no idea what the abreviations mean... but ill look for leaks...could it be a fuse?

what are DTC's ?

It's a trouble code. Do you have a handheld tuuner to read your computer codes with? If so you may find the answer to both of your issues by reading the codes the cars computer will give you. The tuner is an invaluable piece of hardware for these cars.
