Default Panhard & V6

Question for you guys & gals.

Since I put on my FRPP springs, my rear 7.5 axle has slipped to the left about .5-1" so I was going to the the BMR adjustable panhard bar. Before I order it, I noticed it says for GT, is this going to be an issue?

I will be adding Tokico D-specs also I would assume that won't affect anything as well.

Not sure what you use your car for, but while your under there you might as well upgrade the brace as well.

I don't go to the track, it's purely for recreational fun and a little excitement, so I don't think I will need it.

Mine did too, and I still had the stock springs and shocks on the car. I purchased the CHE severe-duty double adjustable poly/poly panhard bar, had my alignment shop install it along with a new front-end alignment. All's better now...

.5" to 1.0" shift is impossable unless it was already shifted from the factory.
The panhard bar is about 44" in length at a 2 degree angle to the axle tubes.
Now drop the rear 1". Draw it out on paper and do the geometery.
Its only a 1/4" at best side shift.

It is no less than .5" shift

You may end having toadd the brace as well. The stock brace is shaped like an upside down U. When you hit a large bump on the driver's side the springs compress and the stock panhard rod fits into the U. The adjustable brace has a large turnbuckle and it may not fit into the U and may bang when it hits the sides of the brace. The BMR brace rather than being shaped like an upside down U is flat and the panhard rod won't hit it and bang on it.

Install the adjustable panhard rod and after having driven it for a while, you'll know if it's hitting or not (you will definitely hear it if it does). If it doesn't bang, don't worry about it and keep the stock brace.
