What does that light go to? Does it really belong to some aftermarket alarm?

If it is an aftermarket alarm, there should be a big "alarm type thingie" box somewhere. Look under the dash and under the hood. I had one on a ford van that was giving me problems. I just stripped the whole thing off. It wasn't very hard, and it solved my problem. GOOD LUCK!!!. Oh by the way, I had electrical problems untill I got a REALLY GOOD battery. (read my sig) now....No prob.

i followed the wires and it went into like a Ford Relay box so im not shure...i never really noticed about it until i got in my car, locked my doors then went to start my car...i was locked in with the alarm going off...its an immobilizer so no one can steal your car
