3.73 vs. 4.10

RE: 3.73 vs. 4.10
your wheel and tire size is something that you have to consider too as it changes your final drive ratio. if youve got 20 inch rims 3.73s might not be enough and 4.10s might be too much on 16s.

I've decided to get 3.73 and was wondering what a good brand would be because i will pay a little more to make shore they don't whine or break, also is the ford racing t-lok any good.

I called FRPP directly and the rep informed me that they stopped making them earlier this year. I've been looking for a set of new gears as well but haven't found any either. If you come across some, PM me.
I've heard that the FRPP gears are actually made by Motive. I've heard good and bad about Motive. Some say ALL Motive gears whine. Other say it depends on your installer. I spoke to my local performance shop about installing Motive gears on my V6 and while they were willing to do it he couldn't guarantee they wouldn't whine. He said it typically turns into a blame game where the manufacturer says the install wasn't done properly and the techs say that the gears whine no matter how good the install is. You're possibly left in the middle with gear whine.
