i might be looking to buy an 05 screaming yellow v6.... i was wondering that bc its a flashy color is your insurance higher? how hard is it to keep clean? are parts harder to find? thanks a bunch guys!

not sure if my insurance is any higher, it is a light color so it shows dirt, i wash mine once a week, all the places that i see who sell parts that can be painted all have the screaming yellow as a option.
but it stands out and if you like to be noticed than go for it. it is also nice when you come out of the mall or the movies and you can see your car no matter where you parked......

The Great thing about the SY color is it can be dirty and look it up close but when you get 20 feet away people will ask you did you just wash and wax it today LOL it hides the dirt realy well. As far as Parts go The only parts that are hard to find are prepainted GT takeoff parts but there are a few other colors that have this problem due to limited run of colors. Cant say any thing about Insurance being higher never heard of that one.

the yellow get dusty very easy, but from about 10, 15 feet away you cant even tell its dirty... I love my yellow GT convert

insurance doesnt take in consideration color anymore, atleast progressive doesnt. didnt even ask me my color , then told me they dont care.

ok... ive been looking since may and i havent found another black one


the only black ones w/ the black interior are gts, and those are at dealers which are running about 6K more than i have.... id love a gt esp since the gas isnt that much worse and i dont drive a lot and id prolly get a flash for milage and perf so for a DD id have the milage flash and the track would be the perf...

i just saw a yellow v6 5spd for 12500 and thought about looking into it...

as for my screen name haha.. .yes 05dayrider would be a better choice... or bananaboat [8D]
