Roush Rear Spring review
I just installed the roush rear springs yesterday.
The install was rediculously easy.
There is a good write up by tacobill on how to do the install.
The only problem was that I was not sure which way was right side up for the springs.
I searchd several forums and there where about the same amount of posts that said to put the
side with the loose coils toward the body as said to put the loose coils against the axle.
I will not say which way I installed them becouse I dont want to listen to anyone tellingme I did it the wrong way
as well as I dont want to mis-lead anyone incase I did do it the wrong way.
Anyway. I have only driven a few miles since the install.
The ride seems only very slightly stiffer, but the axle does not seem to bounce as much over bumps,
The cornering is a little better, and the stance looks much better.
Very worth the money, and the install is too easy.

RE: Roush Rear Spring review
You should be able to read ROUSH on the coil
without standing on your head. They are not
designed to be mounted upside down and should
not be upside down. You wont have proper retention. []

Did you install the matching ROUSH shocks as well?
It is reallya bigdifference between the OEM shocks
with ROUSH springs and ROUSH shocks with ROUSH springs.

157db,
No I did not get the roush shocks yet. I do plan on getting them, but I only have
so much money to buy so many things for my stang.
Not to mention paying for 2 daughters to go to college.

RE: Roush Rear Spring review
OK , I got the springs laying in my garage. I need to know how to remove the rear sway so the control arms will drop far enough to remove the springs. Does the sway need to be under load ? Do I need to pull the whole thing or just the top 2 bolts form the body. I got real frustraed first time I did this. Completly forgot about the sway !
Thanks
Thanks

Fig06,
Here is a write up by tacobill that will tell you everyting you need to know.
https://mustangforums.com/m_3070963/tm.htm
FYI, a called roush support, and they said that the springs go with the writing on the springs right side up.
It only took me 30 min to switch them around so they were right LOL.
