Default PLEASE HELP ?!?!?!?!?!

I've been having a problem with the check engine light coming on at random times (once in the morning and several times in the afternoon at different spots). If I clear the codes sometimes it comes back on the next day and sometimes it skips a day. When it comes on it is always 0171, 0174, or both. I've taken off and readjusted the cai and I've cleaned the maf and I reflashed it with my new race tune from Bama. My SCT X-Cal 2 says this is system running too lean 1, or system running too lean 2. Has anyone had this issue or does anyone have any idea what might be causing it?[/align]

Have you tried reflashing back to stock, then putting your tune back on?

yes. and it is definately not the leaky window issue either cause I had the glass replaced in 2006 (rock from dumptruck)
Oh and the car runs like a champ before and after the light comes on

Do you have any other tunes you can try, see if it is your tune.

I'm a bit of a novice with newer cars, but could an O2 sensor be reading the ratio wrong? Does it seem to run fine?

I had the exact same problem.... Call BBK and they will probably tell you that the actual intake tube isthe wrong size they had to discontinue a certain style of the tube because it was causing MAF problemsso theyll probably just send u another one and that should take care of it

I'll call them and see what they say but I've had the BBK cai on there since summer of '06 and it just recently started to throw the code. I'm wondering though if it is the cai cause when I first installed it it was pulled crooked but when I cleaned it recently I finally got the connector straightened out where the tube lined up with the tb perfectly

Sounds like something with your sensors.
